Philippe is a former RRNA/LRNA mechanic and has been keeping Bay Area Land Rovers running out of his independent shop now located in 2520 Bayshore in San Francisco. Unlike the dealer, he will suggest aftermarket or even refurbished parts that he trusts. When we had a ten year old Range Rover, Phillipe helped manage a laundry list of repairs to prioritize rather than tell me I needed everything repaired. Check out his wife's Defender 110 that's usually parked out front. The back seats have three car seats for his triplets with a back compartment filled with strollers! Land Rover repairs are never cheap but I highly value Phillipe's expertise and love knowing I'm supporting a local family owned business.

Unreliable, Poor Service at Land Rover at RoverLand

If you don't want to get your Rover fixed right away, go here. Awful, unprofessional and complete waste of time. I had an appointment to have PCV hose replacement in order to pass smog inspection. I drove from downtown SF to their shop which is located in a very poor location. Upon arrival, Philippe informed me they were too busy and were also closed the following day. I asked to buy the part so I could replace it myself and he said no, go to the dealership. They should not make an appointment with a customer if they cannot honor it! I had taken a day off work and arranged childcare in order to get my car fixed. It was quite an awful experience. I did, however, buy the part and fixed it myself saving over $150 compared to what he was charging.
