It's back

Looks like a defective sensor. TSB# LA303-006 VIN Range 5A000360 to 6A367332. The sensor float "absorbs" coolant and sinks. Hmm....

As stated above - installation of new expansion tank is required.

My Coolant Level Low warning has come up erratically over the last week. It's probably the sensor since the tank shows full. My 2005 LR3 is out of Warranty, so will the dealer fix the problem since there is TSB# LA303-006 VIN Range 5A000360 to 6A367332?

I'll probably have to pay. I guess it's best to call the dealer to find out.

Don't assume. I've had one warning that was inded a sensor and one that was caused by a leak. The leak was due to a small crack in the thermostat housing.
