Manual transmission transfer case bad will automatic transmission transfer case worj

I'm new to the land rover community, just got a 1995 disco with a manual trans, the guy that I got it from said the transfer case pop out of high when driving and would not go back in. I was wondering if theirs any know problems with a simple fix, and if not could u use a transfer case off of a automatic disco or are they differentKk

Transfer cases are the same unless I remember wrong... Sounds like it just broke the pin inside though about a hour or so fix if I recall correctly.

Does that pin can u accese from the top or do you need to pull the transfer case apart

I sadly don't recall off the top of my head.... it should show in the RAVE or give Nathan a call (in my signature) I know he knows off the top of his head.
