Well I finally tackled my aftermarket fog light install!

Here it is in steps:

Step 1 - Bumper Removal

This was easy cause I already removed it before when I was installing my grill.

Step 2 - Bumper Cut Out

This was tricky so I had to be creative, I used a drilled holes from the inside of the bumper with the top edge of each hole touching the the pre cut circle marked on the inside. then turned the bumper over, using a red market marker, play connect the dots with the holes, drawing the circle at the top of each drill hole. Then used a jig saw and cut according to the line I drew.

Step 3 - Fog Light Install from the Rear

Now I really had be creative like MacGyver!!
I bought 2 5” ABS plumbing end caps, drilled a 4” hole on both of them
Measured them against the 3 mounting holes which are made for OEM fog
Drilled 3 small holes in the in the ABS to line up with the mounted ones
My aftermarket fogs have side mounts so I had to position my lamps the way I wanted them to sit in the bumper and measure exactly where I wanted to drill the side holes in the ABS end cap
Using M6 screws with washers, mount my fog lamps to the ABS
Then I connected the ABS to the 3 mounting holes with plastic zip tie raps for a tight fit
*attached OEM fog light bezels

Step 4 – Run Wiring Harness
I then ran the wiring to the battery and through the grommet by the steering column, this way the wiring came out right under the steering wheel.

Step 5 - Install Switch

I decided to install the switch beside the head light switch.
So I popped off the left panel with the switch and cut a small hole to install my switch
I ran the wiring through and connected them to the switch
Popped the panel back into place

Step 6 – Test Fog Lamps

Grabbed my bumper with the fog light mounted in them
Hoisted them up onto to buckets close to the truck
Connected the wiring and everything worked

Step – 7

Attach the bumper, Grill, and headlight back to the vehicle, I had also purchased the OEM fog light bezels, with this it won’t look like a factory install.
And below is the finished project.

See before and after pic! These fogs lamps have 2 bulbs one with a white bulb and one with a blue bulb, accompanied with my 2 way switch, I can show off blue lights or white lights! See pics below
