NAS Recall P39 - 2010-2013 Emissions / Engine Malfunction Lamp illuminated

I just got a notice from the DMV requiring the certificate in order to register. It reads:

"MANUFACTURER RECALL PROOF OF CORRECTION IS REQUIRED from an authorized dealership. Please refer to recall # P039. If you have any problems completing this repair, contact the ARB at 1-800-242-4450"

Your dealer - or any dealer - will supply you with the certificate (mine forgot to issue one when they did the corrective work, so they mailed it to me when the DMV registration renewal was due and I called them to request it.) Just send that certificate in with your DMV payment. If the work was performed, they should also have applied a sticker somewhere in the engine bay to state so, but of course the sticker won't do you any good to register with the DMV.
