OK, All in a weeks time I got the 3 amigos. Not a big deal but then I got fault codes.

P1590 Land Rover Rough road signal implausible Drive cycle A:Signal implausible
P1535 Land Rover Compressor request plausibility fault Drive cycle A:Signal implausible
P0301 Generic Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0301 Generic Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected

Can anyone tell me what this all means?
It's a 2000 disco and runs rough to the point that I am afraid to drive it.
Any help would be much appreciated. Joe

3 amigos = rust in front ABS sensors, or a bad shuttle valve.

I would start by a tune up (you may have already done this not sure). Check the air filter, clean the MAF, and the butterfly on the throttle body.

This may fix the issue.

So I cleaned out the MAF and hosed out the butterfly and it cleared up the hesitation a lot. The fillter could use a change but light still passes though it but while I had it apart I noticed a few things like the idel air control valve hums when the ignition is on the on position but not running. I noticed it while holding the vibrating air intake.
Is this normal?

Also I'm not sure of what this is but it's leaking. Is this a concern?

Idle air vibration is normal.

The leak is a bad gasket, you are leaking antifreeze via the anti-icer. Not a hard fix, but one that you should get done soon.

You will need the gasket just on the other side of the butterfly, and you can either buy the gasket for this, or do like I did and just use some permitex

Dont for get to buy a couple of real hose clamps to replace the junk that is on there when you take that part off. about an hours work.

I got the 3 amigos fixed. I had dirt covering the rear sensor and a little brake kleen with a reset of slabs was the trick.
As for the misfire, I am still having issues. First I cleaned the MAF, butterflies and replaced the wires (just as precaution) cleaned and regapped the plugs replaced the air filter. Cleared the codes and within 5 miles the problem came back. It is intermittent so I am going to replace the MAF and then if the problem still exists I am going to replace the coil packs.
Does this sound reasonable?

doubt it is the coil packs, but this is just my opinion.

What type of spark plugs are you running?

It was the MAF. I suppose it just couldn't be cleaned any more.
Joey, I just wanna say thanks for helping me out yet again. This board wouldn't be much without people like you, chongo and wolf. I really do appreciate the efforts from all of you and all of you I did not honorably mention. Thanks Joe
