If you still need a filler neck with cap for your 2K Land Rover I have an engine from a 2K Range Rover that has a cracked block.

It has a filler neck and cap on it. If you need it get with me and I will let it go reasonably.

I have taken the whole engine apart. I am not sure what will work on my 4.0 Disco I. Probably nothing. I do know that the filler neck and cap are compatable.

I thought it was normal until I read this thread. Been taking the cap off like this since I owned my 98 Disco little over a year.
