P0101 my latest gremlin after gassing up

Last 2 times about 45 mins after gassing up. The obd scanner clears it no problem and then it only comes back after the next time i fill up. Guessing i need to MAF sensors.

If that were the case wldnt it happen irrespective of gassing up?

hmmm. i don’t see any correlation between the fuel system and the air system. Enlighten me if you know differently.

I'd unplug the MAF connectors, inspect them and re-seat them.

The fact that it occurs after refueling makes me think of the evap/purge system, and specifically the charcoal canister. If the purge valve is not sealing, or if the charcoal canister is saturated, you can get improper air/fuel ratios. I‘ve seen a number of reports of charcoal canister problems over the years, both due to overfilling at the pump and apparently some problem in filler necks. No idea why that would trigger a MAF out of range error though.
