replacing brakes

this will be the third set of back brakes on my 2005 lr3 it has 115000kms this seems high to me any thoughts

Your first two sets lasted about 35,000 miles each. I'd say that's pretty much par for the course.

I agree, Rover brakes on our D2's and LR3's have alway been undersized and don't last well.
When doing brakes in the past, were the rotors replaced as well?

It varies...I got over 50k on my rears and about 65k out of my fronts. In both cases the rotors were fine.

I got 60 on the rear and about 35 on the fronts did pads and rotors at 60K just to be safe.

yes, i think may be the fourth set in the rear not three ,if unsized what is the cure

Go to Atlantic British and look at the different brake sets they offer.
