Can anyone confirm that these are the latest greatest part #'s for the bluetooth installation kit for a US model 2005 HSE?

VUB501152 - the installation kit for LR3
LR006279 (which superceded from XVJ500121) - the bluetooth controller for LR3

Correct - the dealer install retrofit kit

Think I'm going to buy it / do it.... I can get parts for around 780 from parts.com (a LR dealer in Ft Lauderdale is actually the fulfillment). I've almost gotten in enough wrecks bc of my phone to justify the expense , which admittedly is too high).

Ya, I looked into it recently for similar concerns, but could not justify the cost based on my limited useage.

I would be more inclined to get a Parrot System. Much cheaper and does the exact same thing. Look at Parrot 3100 or 3000.

Just had my bluetooth control assy and it was XVJ500450

And i wouldnt call it the latest and greatest. My callers always complain about the road noise...the wind noise as I'm driving 80mph.
