This is a large VIN range. I hope they do issue a letter, because I know my dealer won't react to my desire to have the work done unless I've had a specific problem that points to one of these repairs.

It's been described as a "Service Action" on other forums, as opposed to "Service Bulletin". It is my understanding that Bulletin items only get resolved on Owner compaint, whereas Service Actions are automatically resolved by the dealer upon next visit.

So on your next scheduled service or visit, bring this up with your service advisor and it should not be a problem to have done.

As I mentioned in a previous thread, I had most of those done between my air compressor failure replacement (a little more than a month ago) and my last scheduled maintenance 2 weeks ago. No problems.
