Good Morning Gents,
My 06 LR3 is rocking the 10 speaker Harmon Kardon audio (w/ nav). I noticed my front speakers are getting pretty scratchy and often bottom out on talk radio. I want to replace the front components with something better, not looking to upgrade the amp or anything. Looking for suggestions, if anyone else has done it. Don't want to get LR replacements, but will if I have to.
1. Are the front components crossed over on the amp, or is there a separate crossover?
2. How much of a pita is taking the door panels off
3. If you did a swap what did you use.
*If anyone knows where to get some OE speakers cheap, please let me know. I've seen some forums state that dealers were blowing them out for pennies on the dollar.
