Threshold scratches....the ocd in me

Obviously too late for most of us, but you can install paint protection film and prevent this before any damage is there.

In due time. I just retired my 95 mercedes from daily duty, I always try to head off damage before it's an issue.
You can bet when I get my bush pinstripes I'll wear them with pride.

So I can now classify myself as OCD :), here's a thread I started:


So you just used the grips to bend the Discovery 5 plates, any downsides yet?

Yep, the plates only cover the main wear areas, and the rear are really small.

Started with the vice, then tweaked with the pliers. Door seems to seal just fine, no discernable downsides.
3M double sided is sticking strong after a good isopropyl wipe down on the truck.
