What is needed to read engine error codes?

Hi,

I have an 03 Discovery. Recently the 'service engine soon' light came on, and it was right after I let my son drive it. When I checked what I thought was the problem, sure as heck, the gas cap wasn't totally sealed. My suspicion is that the system detected that and threw the code.

But I'm not sure.

I have a motorcycle (Buell, if you care) on which I can read the codes using a diagnostic plug and a bit of software called TunerPro. I imagine that TunerPro, since it's a generic reader, would be able to read the codes from the Disco, if I knew where to find the cable.

Have any of you used TunerPro with your Disco, and have you a source for the cable?
