Every so often I hear a sound, not so much a grinding sound but something close to that when from start, I turn onto another street. Possibly gears not connecting or the open diff not open enough when going into a turn? Its not a reoccurring sound..

Could this be the rear diff? Both front and rear were replaced a while back and I do have HD.

Anyone hear a similar sound? How was it resolved? Thanks!

I would check for play in your front wheel bearings first. Is it only under acceleration?

exactly. It sounds like it comes from the rear but it could be the front too. Ill check the wheel for play and then have my guy check it out too.

thanks

Sometimes when I do a slow sharp turn my tires rub the inside of the wheel wells. Any chance it's that? (It happens occasionally and I think is when the suspension height is low)
