Windshield Wipers **** the car...

I own a 2002 Disco that has been doing some really weird things. I had her complete fuse box taken out and replaced and it stopped for awhile.. but when I turn on my windshield wipers it kills the car. Not only that, but the back windshield wiper comes on all by itself when this happens. The wiper moter sounds loud so I'm guessing it needs replaced.. but will this **** the car????

Sounds like a really bad short... but I have never heard of this happening before.

Someone wired up the fuse box incorrectly. Get the schematics and go over it carefully.

rear wiper is wired to come on whether the switch is on or not IF the front wipers are on and the truck is put in reverse... Sounds like something is not wired right...
