i think it would depend on how difficult your state makes it to register a salvage titled vehicle. I'm in Connecticut, and they don't make it easy, if even possible at all.

My question would be why was it salavaged? Sunroof can be fixed for around $100 +or- or siliconed up for about $5.

Passenger window making noise could be a broken tooth on the gear... cd changer may not work either because some put CD in upside down, or flood damage...

I would say for about $200 have a LR tech look it over and give you some advise. Or you might end up sinking another 5k in it over the next year and wishing you had bought a better/nicer/better mantained LR.

Hope this helps.

For a salvage titled vehicle, in my opinion, it is not a fantastic price. Find out what has been damaged to be on a salvage title, a friend of mine who does this for a living has had all from minor damage/stolen to rolled and chopped or flooded.

It might be an okay deal, but resale will be weak.
