@steevo I need one of these that spans the length and width of both the cargo and mid-seat-section (all back seats lay flat) - so my hubby and I can camp comfortably overnight at trailheads and keep our backpacking gear underneath. Any chance I can purchase one from you?!?
Just thought I'd share, I Finally got my Compos and 265/60r18 BFG KO's. Super glad I went this route, kept it simple, still feels like a luxury ride, and I can't wait to take it out next week. no rub and the spare fits. stoked.
@CRYA that turned out awesome! how did it do with the spare? Curious to know more about the GAP tool? is is a lift? a rod? please explain, and are you installing it because of any rub with your 265/65r18's?
@RobRover88 yesssss sir eeee this confirmed my selection will be 18x8 anthracite compos (purchased from Lucky8 off-road equipment NY, USA) on my Santorini Black 2013 LR4 HSE LUX paired with 265/60r18 BFG K02’s (fingers crossed I can find them locally in So Cal USA or shipped to me via online -...
@johnny walker were those TuffAnt Alloys? or factory?
THAT reminds me, I'm selling my 20" factory wheels (machined and black) on offer up https://offerup.co/6KF6HRWONfb or DM me here if anyone is interested...
@jlglr4 that looks good! seems filled out enough, thank you for posting a pic. are your compos black or anthracite?
I may just pull the trigger on black and not wait 6 weeks for gray... seems like 265/60 or 65's work based on preference. decisions... @ryanjl what does E-rated mean?
@Haris definitely keep us posted! I too want the extra inch of tire if I can pull it off.
I’m leaning towards Grey compos on my black LR4 which won’t be ready til end of may due to the manufacturer making a new batch from overseas. I will await your results! I could order black ones today but...
that's what I was gathering regarding JRods... good to know about SYA. I don't think I'm going to lift. just want the biggest AT tire without the hassle. super helpful conversation. TY
2 questions about this: if I were to have an air suspension failure with compomotives and 265/60/18's and no lift, would I be sitting on the tires?
are the Johnson Rods a permanent lift or are they different technology than the SY8 lift kit?
your truck looks great btw. tasteful and well...
