General thoughts on buying a 2011 LR4 with 100k miles?
It appears that the original statement above against the 19's was because of a dealer's (totally bogus) comment that the Conti tires were "too much." There's nothing wrong with the 19" wheels, there are plenty of good tires available for highway, snow, and light duty offroading. I like Nokian... -

Interesting. It must be really bad in some motors then. His explanation of the engine trying to "put in" timing around 6:15 or so is way out of left field... Almost as bad as calling this a Ford engine! -

2010 HSE - add the LED "halo" lighting?
Well, good news. The headlight swap works. The LEDs appear to be wired to the same pins on the plug as the plain running light bulb is on my headlight, so swapping to the "with LEDs" headlight just means that you get the LEDs lit up in place of the running lights, which is exactly what I wanted... -

Code readers and diagnostic tools
The iLand tool can read and reset problem codes, read settings (ie DRLs) but not change them, can't do new keys. According to an email response from AB. Doesn't sound as useful as the gap tool. I am surprised given the marketing material on the website makes it sound all powerful.
