Loose 8mm ground on my engine caused the coil pack drivers on the ECU to fry, had to tighten the ground between the cam position sensors and have my ecu cloned into a working one.
I have been seeing these aluminum thermostat housings for a few weeks on eBay. I haven't found anyone who's tried them not have heard horror stories of the oem plastic ones failing but I may be wrong there.

On an engine stand I was able to rotate the injectors 90° and the valve cover clears them without having to pull them. Whether that means the seal is compromised or not is another issue, probably not as I'd imagine the seal stays put and the injector is the only one moving.
