I have a reservation for the R1S, from 2020. I’m hoping to be able to get the 410+ mile range pack though, which isn’t offered yet. I figure that range is what’s needed at a minimum to go remote. I’ve driven the R1T and it’s amazing, so I’m hoping the R1S is even better. -
Second Battery Installed in LR4
I ended up doing this mod to my buddy’s 2011 LR4. Worked great. I repurposed the horn bracket by flattening the mounting points to marry up with the mounting points of the TCM. I relocated the horn on the aft-inboard side of the battery box. Thanks for the insights!! -

The only redeeming value of Arnott is that they have a lifetime warranty. I've blown out three now, a two buddies have blown out a few as well. OEM is THE BEST air spring option. 3 of my 4 air springs lasted over 200K miles. -

That TSB gives BK the blessing. In the end, my issues was a pump, because if it was clogged injectors, changing the pumps would not have resolved the problem. -

That error code was one of my high pressure fuel pumps. Diagnostics can’t tell which one so I replaced both of mine, and yes I also replaced the tappets. The pumps are in the vicinity of the alternator. I loosened the rigid lines instead of removing them to be able to remove the pumps. They... -

Interestingly, the EBC clips and shim that came with my Green Stuff pads work great, I’ve never had a rattle issue like I do with the Yellow Stuff pads that didn’t come with the clips and shim. Need to find a couple sets. -
