2012 HSE 5.0 V8 Engine Rattle
Wrong! Wrong! Why out guess the engineers that design the motor. Use 5-20 Castrol oil and factory filter what the manufacture recommends, and you will be good. I worked at Ford dealer as a Tech when customer comes in with F150 Ford 4.6 motor with less than 6000miles on it. Knocking so bad. Wrong...- georgekale

When was the oil changed? What brand and weight of oil is used? Wrong brand oil and wrong oil weight will cause your problems. Use factory recommended Castrol oil and the right weight. See if that helps.- georgekale

Transmission Fluid Flush using Oil Cooler Lines - Anyone done it?
Right way is factory way. Replace the pan with a new factory pan and ZF fluid. Flush is OK. Notice the magnet holding steel filings, you won't get this out with a flush. pan is also the filter.- georgekale

LR3 has a rough start to engine - why? (video included)
Ran into the same problem. At first rough idle on cold start. Random miss fire on startup. Engine miss 2-4-6-. Guess what fixed this problem. # 4 injector carbon up. Replaced # 4 injector and clean the intake manifold runners with upper cylinder cleaner injected through intake vacuum fitting...- georgekale

2011 LR4 5.0 130k miles starting problem
Poor quality of work at that shop. Good tech always checks the battery and electrics first. How did this tech diagnose high pressure fuel pumps? Electrics are very crucial in these vehicles. Poor weak battery cause so much failed software in ECM.- georgekale

Is this leak coolant or transmission fluid?
Coolant Dye and UV light is next on your list. Also Ear Endoscope camera can help in tight spots. Pressure tester also a must. Coolant leaks are a ***** to find. Second guessing cost money and time. I have been down that road before.- georgekale

At the risk of getting flamed for asking.. An Oil question.
Some people always try to second guess recommendation over the Engineers that built the motor. Use what factory recommends. Castrol Extend Edge will work, so will Amsoil . Mobil one is not recommended, go to Mobil oil site and check oil requirements for your vehicle. here's proof...- georgekale

Remove and replace supercharger snout
I hope you got it figured out by now. If it feels loose, and you lift it slightly, then its the hose retainer under the manifold holding it. Also rear egr bolts. Let us know what you find?- georgekale
