Good call on the water egress, started the truck this morning and fault is gone even when turning on the fan. I am thinking the pressure from the sprayers in the car was got water into there. I did pull off the pillar and checked it, no water but you could tell by the amount of residue... -

Which brakes wear faster - front or rear?
Mine just went in for its 60,000 mile service and same issue. What the service rep said that is because the rear brakes are smaller. My take on this is smaller brakes = more work = more wear. I could be wrong but it sounds real good. -

New Brake Squeal
I bought my LR3 used back in November of 2008 from the dealer and they squealed from day 1. They said they had put new brakes on. I went by a few weeks ago for something else and asked one of the mechanics and they said it was normal.......?
