Range Rover tries to shake itself appart

I have a problem with my 1990 RR Classic, when it goes over 50MPH it tries to shake itself appart and the steering wheel goes all over the place. The problem is worse if I am taking a left hand bend or can be triggered by hitting a bump in the road.
