LR3 Tires
I put on a set of Continentals Cross Contact UXP HL's. Have run them for a few thousand miles and still drive great.- PeterParnham

Thinking of buying an LR3.
Reliability We have an 06 LR3. We have had hardly any problems. The only issues have been to with "excessive" wear with tires, which were replaced, pro-rated. Now the pads at 22,500, but my wife just drives the car around town, all 5,000 lbs +, so I guess we can't be too upset. Our battery went...- PeterParnham

Squishy Brakes
Ours went a little squishy, more noticable when I bought a new car recently. The LR is in for its 22,500 service and it turns out I am down to 3mm on the front pads and 4mm on the rears. Apparently they need to be changed. I am being charged $470 per axle. I hope that helps- PeterParnham
