I restored a 1987 Defender imported from Italy. Replaced the entire suspension, upgraded the engine to a TDI 200 after rebuilding it.
I always liked the Discovery series but due to unreliability, would never buy one new.
Found this one that was well maintained and in great shape but has a number of electronic problems.
