Coolant pump hose repair
Good Morning guys, Was wondering if anyone had any advice on installing a new coolant hose --thermostat to water pump- the one that also goes to the resevoir...found a pin hole in mine last night. I was looking around and saw that the bottom connector may be a tight fit... Thanks as...- russburcham

Ball-Joint quote
Hi Mike- about 120k--nasty squeak/grinding sound when turning or going over bumpy roads- The shop owner lifted it and showed me the "play" on the one side that was very noticeable and he recommended doing both-- russburcham

D2 AC fan not working
same thing happened to me- I had cold air trickling through the vents at hwy speed. went onto ebay found a used bench tested blower and swapped it out (under the glove box) works great now! - pretty simple to do- only 3 screws- hardest part is having to be a contortionist to get to the blower...- russburcham

Engine Issue
this sounds similar to a problem I had w/ my 97 disco- no codes and diagnosis from dealer was dirty valves-- ended up to be BS!! Needless to say, I spent $$$$$ having them "clean" them out to no avail...then, I went on to the message boards and people seemed to point me in the direction of the...- russburcham

Thanks for your offer Mike- I just got this msg today and my mechanic already found a used ECU that had higher mileage on it than mine, but was able to take the mileage processor/chip part out so that it still thinks its the original- apparantly, the physical casing at the plug-in area was...- russburcham

hi joey, yes, it is a land rover ecu (my mechanic ONLY works on land rovers) he was going to swap one out - and he does have the laptop based test book computer. Also gets some of his programs and tech info from Cypress or Crete--or something like that- does this make sense?- russburcham

will not start in cold weather
So my '01 disco w/ 107k miles won't start again. My mechanic has replaced and/or checked my 02 sensors, MAF, idle control valve among other things- he is getting fuel pressure and replaced my faulty driver side lock module. he is getting NO codes on it at all and has finally checked my ECU...- russburcham

thanks joey- its an '01-- while i've got you here, have you heard of any problems stemming from putting in your own trailer lighting rig? I got the universal part from wal-mart and am set to go...just thought i'd get your opinion. thanks as always!- russburcham

...that I could've had heated seat ALL ALONG!?!?! So I got an email from Atlantic British about their conversion kit and was thrilled. I went down to my local parts guy (Rover Land) in Tampa, FL and collected the 2 switches and cover plate...for basically pennies! Now my wife is LOVING the...- russburcham
