Buying this 2015 LR4 Lux Pkg w/ HD Pkg, but am freaking out about the RUST! Should I walk?
I agree - that amount of rust is almost enviable (I am in NJ). I had mine undercoated (lanolin) to protect the frame as it was getting a bit bad. My mechanic hates me now but at least I know it’s got some protection.- sandythedisco

2013 LR4 HSE LUX - Camera Unavailable
@eenis - any update? I am having the same issue now. I installed a Front Runner ladder last year which requires a new seal on the rear so that might be leaking. It seems more prevalent after rain too, so that's my guess. One of these days I'll have to rip all that out and check it. Anyone...- sandythedisco

Anyone running Tuffant steel wheels yet?
I have the same setup...just a hint of rubbing on full steer but nothing i am concerned about...supposedly more in access mode but i just stay out of it. This offset, this tire fills out the truck so well and improves the stance so much. Here are the frame knuckles- sandythedisco

So finally got everything together....Tuffant Steelies + 265/65 r18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers - the LT version. Have yet to test the rub, but so far so good. Also have not tried to get the spare up in the cubby either...but i have no confidence it will fit. Been looking at alts. Definitely don't...- sandythedisco

That was my thought too, but i had read there is some rubbing based on the .2 inch difference...i looked back and found that its been reported that there is slight rubbing in full lock in access mode. :rolleyes: It could also be an issue off roading under flex, but with the beefier tire i am...- sandythedisco

I ordered and am waiting on my Tuffant steelies (18s). Will mount Ridge GRappler 265/65R18 116T XL - according to Jake at Tuffant, its the max you can go without rubbing with no mods. Highly recommend TuffAnt as Jake's been awesome to deal with and answered all my questions over email.- sandythedisco

Control Arm bushing repair NYC area
@chrisp how, exactly, do you know the CAs are going? I am beginning to get a very slight steering wheel wobble during braking from medium speed (super slight right now). Curious if that's a CA sign or i should be looking into my rotors?- sandythedisco

touch screen whiteout
I was up north skiing this past weekend and had the white screen happen as stated above (in my 2013 LR4), only it wasn't hot, it was about 5 degrees f. Same thing - everything worked, but the screen was white. Drove for about two hours. Stopped for gas, restarted and it was back to normal...- sandythedisco

Bolt-on Roof Racks for LR4 Without Rails?
I just ordered the Rhino rack backbone/pioneer rack (79x49). It was in stock, ready to ship and did not need short rails. I will post Picts of the install once I get it going.
