Dual battery setup...
I installed this kit a while back and did have problems with my primary battery (one of the reasons I bought the kit). When the main battery finally died, the aux battery automatically kicked in to start the car. A great kit, which given my luck with batteries gives me piece of mind when traveling. -

Talk me out of even considering a Nissan Armada
I have both the Nissan Titan and an LR3. The Titan has lots of power, but does not come close to the refinement of the LR3. The top of the range Titan sucks inside and has a terrible ride when compared to the Land Rover. Also, I agree with xconcepts, Nissan's customer service is complete crap. -

89 Octane Gasoline
I used to use only 91 religiously, but for the past few months 89 and I see no difference. Gas mileage is the same and performance is the same. I'm in Orange County So. Cal. -

How long did/should your brake pads last?
I had mine changed at 15.5K. I also didn't see the warning light - just got a call from the dealer when it was in for the 15K service. -

Oil leak, filter?
My 06 LR3 has had a couple of leaks. I have taken it in twice for coolant leaks, and took it back today for another leak. It turns out to be an oil leak from "somewhere towards the front of the engine". I'm told that they should know more tomorrow. Hopefully it something simple...
