I've read the DIY Timing chain replacement thread (https://www.landroverworld.org/threads/diy-timing-chain.31050/), it seems that timing chain tensioner can be a bit tricky? Range Rover 5.0 SC Timing Chain Rattle
Hello I have the dreaded rattling timing chain on my RR 5.0 SC engine. Contemplating my options and I could use some advice on the particulars. The "ziptie method" of immobilizing the cams appeals to me, as I prefer to not remove the injectors and valve cover. Have others here done this repair...- stokesey
