Door handle trim replacement
thanks that’s for the entire handle not just the cover. I can get the “cap” next to the handle for around $30. Maybe might have to try the junk yard route or some adhesive. It would be nice to get just the cover since on my driver side the covers are speckled with tire shine that won’t come off... -

@ktm525 any idea on the part number or where I can find it? I checked some of the online explodes parts diagrams but they only list the entire handle. If it crazy money I will just silicone it back on. -

Hello, I could not seem to locate the exterior door handle plastic trim piece part number. Maybe you need to buy the entire handle? Kids broke a plastic tab off and it keeps falling off. The handle works fine. See attachment for picture. Thanks! -

Why is the "most capable 4x4" so fragile ?
My front lower control arm bushings where clunking at ~40k miles. Replaced under warranty. It was definitely the bushings as I had small drips oil under each one. -

Costco's Kirkland Signature 5W-20?
93 octane? Correct me if I am wrong but the manual calls for 95 RON which is 91 in the US. Bare minimum is 91 RON which is 87 but warns against prolonged use. Edit: searching around on the forums I see it is 95 RON minimum in normal situations. I though for a bit I missed something and was... -

Dying Electrical?
If your eco mode is not operational check the aux battery under the hood. It’s the smaller battery. Don’t think that is tied to the heated steering wheel however. -

Thanks, yes the second row. The rubber mats where in the truck when we bought it. Some of those plastic hooks are in spots where there are no holes through the mat and places where there are holes in the mat there are no hooks. I’ll take a look. -

That 3rd mat is so overpriced. Found a used oem one on eBay for $50. Agreed with everyone else the oem rubber mats work well here in Boston. My only complaint is that they don’t line up with the mat keepers molded into the carpet. -

Potential LR4 Owner - Accident History
I have a 2016 which the only engine choice is the V6 since 2013. The knob shifter is the other “major” difference with the 8 speed transmission. Didn’t like it at first but after using it I like it now. Unless you get a complete accident history I would steer clear unless it’s discounted... -

Do bushings save control arms?
My MY16 with 39k had front bushings gone on both side. Found small drops of oil on the garage floor one morning. Both where replaced under warranty but the dealer just pressed in new bushings. So at 42k yours could be gone. Check for any oily residue around the rear bushings on the front control... -

Hard shift into drive or reverse when cold
Thanks for the tab. I’ll have to pay attention to the rpms next time to see. The lurch/bump into gear doesn’t happen until I push the gas pedal. We back down our driveway to the street. Then we get to the street I shift to drive what a second then press the gas. If I shift into drive and release... -

Supercharger Rattle?
Interesting that they made a change that will make that part more reliable...hopefully. Any idea when the update part was introduced? Haven’t heard anyone else mention the updated part before. I have a 2016 might have to go take a peak under the hood.
