    any body shop will refinish them for you. Be sure to get them clear coated with a UV protecting clearcoat. My shop needed 2 days.

    I have to admit, the F350 Super Duty Diesel 6.4l diesel is a beast. Not so smoky and smelly, except on startup. But noisy and a very "truck like" ride. I prefer the creature comforts of the LR... just want more power without the "pretty luxury" of the RR.

    Is it me!? I have a history of towing with all sorts of military vehicles. I followed the specs in the manual. Performed the factory setup. And I am amazed that this setup can handle a towing capacity of tongue weight of 770 lbs and towing weight of 7700 lbs. Anyone here done it?

    I concur. Its a good transmission… if its maintained. Actually, if you’re aiming to be “proactive”, I’d change ALL fluids, filters and the PCV. And fwiw, I get an alignment, annually.

    I’d think keeping it clean would be the answer. Lube becomes sticky, attracts and keeps dirt, then you are back to square one.

    The EPB is an integral part of the vehicles driving capability. Hill descent, Cruise control, even some of the alternate driving options in the Terrain response system require the EPB. Should you disconnect it, these systems will not work. To keep it working, use it.

    Yes, the car was parked at the dealer for service, overnight, when the mishap occurred. The dealer looked after it by bringing in a scratch and dent guy.
