I thought the windshield had two heating elements, one on each side, and each has a 30A fuse. The mirrors draw about 2A each. The blower fans can draw a good bit too.

There's an electric motor that activates the clutchpack in the locking diff. The ABS-based traction control is very good though, definitely doesn't behave like an open diff vehicle.
If you're on your original compressor, the desiccant likely turned to dust and some of it is preventing the solenoid from closing all the way. You'll want to replace the desiccant (or whole compressor unit), and clean the valves blocks out.
I think if you're not mechanically inclined and have time to do the work, these can be very expensive to keep running. Parting it out means it takes up space for a while in a state of decay. If your wife really likes the platform, you could look at picking up a new-to-you one for less maybe...
Mine read higher than actual before I got new tires, and with the 255/60r19 now reads pretty much spot on. It does read a tad bit low above 70 (about 1mph or so) but I haven't bothered to fix that yet.
