Baja Rack and High Lift hitting rack with their mount??

Just remember the Hi Lift needs to be used right and only in certain situations, or it can be dangerous - especially our rigs do not have many jacking points. If you have the Tactical 4x4 rock sliders, those can be used, as well as an ARB front bumper and the Kaymar rear bumper has Hi Lift...

Baja Rack and High Lift hitting rack with their mount??

I almost got the 60", but honestly, you would never want to lift it that high - the 48" Hi Jack is standard and would suit all your needs.

Baja Rack and High Lift hitting rack with their mount??

It looks like Nick has a 60" version, but it should fit the same... Looks the same as mine actually... Just put a piece of rubber there where it touches.

Baja Rack and High Lift hitting rack with their mount??

    48" inch. I think it's a 485?

Baja Rack and High Lift hitting rack with their mount??

Do you still have my number - you should text me. I can give you the low down on this rack and any issues.

Baja Rack and High Lift hitting rack with their mount??

Mine does it slightly but I put a piece of rubber. It barely touched it.

    OEM Rear ladder versions

They are the same thing... I've seen them both side by side and asked the dealership. I was told that they were just called different things for different years of LR3s and LR4s. I have the "G4" version, but it's identical to the non "G" part number version.

Baja Rack LR4 w/o factory rails

My buddy (he used to be on this forum) installed the Baja rack with the kit that does not need factory rails. I will text him to try to get some photos.

    Showoff Your LR4

I guess with all this interest, I could quit my day job and just fabricate Land Rover stuff. Then again, I can't take all the credit - it was a bit part my buddy in my local Land Rover club. He has amazing skills! Either way, this tire swing away is awesome and made to hold a lot of weight...

    Showoff Your LR4

I finally got my spare tire swing away done yesterday! It took about 13 hours of cutting, welding, and painting. You may remember I actually cut out both spindles on the Kaymar and created my own spindle. The right-hand side tire swing away does not cover the passenger tail lamp (even though it...

Removing full length roof rails for a Baja rack

Anytime!!! I was fully prepared to have to do some cutting and fabrication, but the install was amazingly easy. Those front caps/feet on the full-length roof rails are very easily removed. Once they are removed, you can slide the brackets down the rear rails easily and then the other front...

    Bigger replacement AGM battery

Yes, that's true! I remember having to re-set those functions as well.

Removing full length roof rails for a Baja rack

Yes, the shovel/axe mount accommodates 2 tools (parallel). If you plan to carry a Hi Lift Jack, then the Baja mount is awesome.

    Bigger replacement AGM battery

Come to think of it, I remember completely undoing the battery terminals when I hooked up my off-road lights and winch and then tightened everything back up and it was fine. I did need to update the date/time, etc.

Removing full length roof rails for a Baja rack

Hmmm... that could be the case, I think I mean the inside, but I would definitely ask John. Tell him you want the same rack that I ordered (David West). If you tell him you want the rack 50" wide he gets that request often. They may have actually gone that route anyway because he said a few...

Removing full length roof rails for a Baja rack

Nope! Just be clear with John (I think that's his name) that you want 50" wide. He did not charge me any extra.

Removing full length roof rails for a Baja rack

That's a good point, but I still think the 48" would work as well - there seems to be plenty of room. I am currently visiting family in MA and will not be back West until Tuesday and I can measure for you. Either way, I would get the 50".

    Bigger replacement AGM battery

Yeah, I think that sounds like a good idea. The AGM battery that Umberto used is pricey, but not bad at all - I would pay anything for a great battery. I am happy spending the money and switching it out and your plan sounds great. Looking forward to hearing how your Traxide install goes...

    Bigger replacement AGM battery

That's amazing - I remember when you got your truck! One of the first 2013s on the forum. You have actually had great luck with no problems I believe? My main stock battery is fine, but I wonder if it's worth it to go ahead and replace it with the AGM battery since it's a much better battery...

Umberto does a lot of driving! :) I am at the opposite end of the extreme, I will be lucky to hit 15,000 in 2 years.

    Removing Full-Length Roof Rails

I just answered your recent post. There is NO cutting at all needed - you just remove the front portion of the roof rail, they provide no structural support and slide right off leaving the front completely open and ready. Once the front foot is removed, the Baja rack for the half rails fits...

Removing full length roof rails for a Baja rack

I did it just last month and it's very easy! NO need at all to remove the full-length roof rails or buy the half rails. You will want to buy the kit that is used with the half rails and you will be fine. I have a 2013 with black design package, so it had full-length roof rails. The guys at...
