Looking at the LR4 for a family hauler
I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND a CPO LR4 --- I am on my 2nd LR4 (52k miles) and so far in the past 3 months I have had to have a new fuel pump installed, rear diff pinion seal replaced, headlight washer replaced, windshield washer replaced...so yeah. How our LR3s and 4s would do on this test?
The differential used in that model outback is very similar to the Torsen-C used in the single speed LR4, so I would assume that the LR4 should have no issue with it...- iSurfvilano

How to remove side grille vents?
I did the "yank" method (hahaha) on two separate LR4s to paint and put back. No issues with broken tabs...but after seeing the other method....I suggest doing that instead...it'll cause less stress- iSurfvilano

I took a small rope i had, looped it in and out then in one big tug popped it out. Seems scary at first, but it worked.- iSurfvilano

roof rack
yeah, the bill does rack up quick. I have 2 floor panels coming in with my rack and may consider a 3rd to put a tent up there. Looks like a lot of the accessories (much like many roof rack accessories) can be pieced together by going to the hardware section of your local home depot. Great...- iSurfvilano

From browsing this forum I see tactical had great reviews but they are significantly heavier than others. You also have to relocate the compressor with a kit that they supply. The Voyager ones have a compressor cover that fits right over it, so no relocation needed. I think @mbw just got the...- iSurfvilano
