Every once in a while when lifting the car from the low level setting to the normal height there is a loud buzz from the rear wheels. Recycling doesn't make it go away. It's not every time, Just occasionally. Anything to worry about? 2016 LR4 with 3.6k mi. I need this feature a lot cuz my... -

What are offset tolerances on LR4 wheels? Need wheel info
i don't really understand offset. The factory specs are 53mm. I see lots of wheels with 45mm offset. Do these work or will the tire rub or some other disaster? Are refinished OEM wheels generally ok? I use 20 inch wheels, 8.5 inch width. Frank -

It would be nice to have a single integrated transmission. I think LR sells into two worlds. A significant number are sold to urban/suburban folk who will never go off-road. I've looked at used LRs in NYC and, at least on asking price, the non-HDs were lower but not disproportionately so... -

There are Maxtrax and other brands that look the same. I've never used these things-what do you recommend? Using S with the paddles is a great idea- I'll try that here in the snow. It's been decades since I drove a LR. And that was in eastern Anatolia in horrid slick red mud. I'd get stuck... -

Thanks very much. I feel a bit better having seen that video! I go bird shooting in the North Woods in Maine and the biggest worry on those trails is mud. Or overgrown grass that's very mushy. No rocks to climb over I have 20" wheels that should help and I'll just put my snows on before I try... -

Thank you all for comments. I'm gonna stay with my 20" wheels. I got snows on the original rims now and will prob spring for a set of wheels if I can find a set at a decent price. -

Thank you- that's an interesting solution! I already have a set of 20-inch snows and like the big tires. You're right, there isn't a great tire selection and I'd hate to be in Podunk and need a new tire! I don't know if it's good for tires to be taken off and on rims many times. Frank -

i dislike taking tires off and on each season change when switching from sommer to winter tires. What do most LR4 owners do? Buy a second set of rims? Ouch, they're expensive. Are they worth it in terms of increasing longevity of tires? Frank -

Yeah, I'm singing those blues, too. I bought a beautiful santorini black, black interior, 20" wheel 2016 LR4 without the HD. I hadn't realized it wasn't part of the package. Fell in love with that beautiful machine so now I am annoyed every time I use it. I want to take it on old logging roads...
