There are some shananingans going on here it seems.

    Safari Gard Hippo Hitch

That's super unfortunate. I didn't have any of those issues with my unit, well except maybe for flaky finishing but that was bound to happen when wrenching on the nuts and bolts. Also, they make it clear and I traded messages with them that the recovery ring, not the bushing, may need to get a...

    Terrafirma hidden winch install

I too debated the D44 and the Prospeed before stumbling into a used ARB Summit. The Prospeed with the lightbar is just so aesthetic with the front of the truck and I can't imagine it wouldn't be up to the actual job of winching. And the D44 is sweet too with the recovery loops up front. But you...

    Terrafirma hidden winch install

Keep t Keep us posted if you go Prospeed. They won't ship direct and require you go through their only NA dealer, Lucky 8. But I asked Lucky 8 and they say they basically don't/can't stock Prospeed anymore because they have like impossible lead times.

    TPMS settings with IID tool

Disable your sensors and live free! Kidding kidding. Not really. When I put on my compos I disabled TPMS. But I'm also a high-functioning ape and actually check my tire pressure with a GAUGE! That's right. TPMS is false security.

2012 LR4 Reluctant to lower from off-road suspension mode

Any good recs on a bolt on new dryer assembly in lieu of the internal guts replacement kit where i guess you drill out a rivet etc.? I'd rather spend a few bucks more if the new plug n play assembly is gtg.

LR4 Transmission Fluid Change: Pan Swap Option

I also used the lube locker and a spritz of gasket spray to keep her in place. I also definitely recommend a thread chaser. My screw holes definitely had gunk, debris, and grime presumably because I “use” my truck. If they are mainly street machines, I can imagine there wouldn’t be much junk in...

    Refueling out on the trail

Ohhh haha I didn’t realize that was your IG account that I posted on the other day. I dig that Titan setup. The LRA is just soooo cost prohibitive. I’ve done two Wavians with a fast pouring flexible metal spout. AB will sell it. I got mine through Amazon but that’s when I had them up on my...

LR4 Transmission Fluid Change: Pan Swap Option

103,000. I got mine from Lucky 8. I didn’t mind not using ZF fluid. To me anything more than the fluid seemed like a lot. Took me about 5 hours as it was but I did it on my garage, no lift etc. Trying to do the sleeve for the plug looked like a **** when I could finally see what needed to be...

LR4 Transmission Fluid Change: Pan Swap Option

I reached the same conclusion as you and coincidentally also did the job about a week ago. It's the smaller plug that is the drain. You'll notice it's also lower in the pan than the big one. The big one has that lip higher in the pan so less fluid will be able to drain if you use it.

2012 LR4 Reluctant to lower from off-road suspension mode

I had this issue on my L322. In that instance it was a common issue and had to do with the air compressor "silencer" cone thingy getting clogged over time and needing to be cleaned, bored out, or just removed entirely. I removed mine. But that is likely not applicable here, is it?, because on...

Single TuffAnt Steel Wheel, Black 18x8

Selling my single Tuffant 18x8 et44 black steel wheel (not the tire). It’s only been mounted as a spare. I’ve never driven it. Purchased direct from Tuffant USA in 12/21. Less than a year old! $200 cash picked up in Napa!

    CTEK battery maintainer cable routing?

I have one like this mounted off my winch, hidden behind a door. I highly recommend the "Environmental Boot" It definitely keeps the connector protected: https://powerwerx.com/anderson-36055p2-sb50-environmental-boot-source

    CTEK battery maintainer cable routing?

I used a CTEK maintainer on my previous car. What I had to do was reverse feed the cable from outside to inside, and then re-crimp the battery connections back into place once the wires were routed through. Have you tried this approach? Nothing magical about cutting off a plug and reattaching it...

    LR4 market question

    2013 LR4 - Weird Humming Noise

It's been reported elsewhere, I Can't remember who, but the supplied bolt from Land Rover is supposed to be a self-tapper. But when I did mine, I used a separate tap also. Great fix, but now my trans plate from APT won't fit with the damper installed :(

    Intro! Firenze in HD

Thanks! Yes that's the Summit for the 14+. The 14+ xenons definitely filled in the gap I had vs the old spec, which makes sense given the bar's design. So that was a happy bonus. In June '21, the freight for the air compressor guard and air tank guard was $282 AUD or $182 USD at today's rate.

Yes, the light is amazing. Went with the Euro spec beams. Given the exchange rate when the Pound crashed, it was a no-brainer.
