Odd- my experience says otherwise. Simply removing the surface imperfections with progressively finer wet sanding, followed by rubbing compound isn’t enough. I used the following kit from amazon on my '12 LR4...worked great if you take the time to mask off the edges - work was done in less than 30 min for both lenses. 3M Headlight Lens Restoration System, 39008 Available on Amazon- Rubber Cow

LR4 Summer 50/50 Tire Recs
Hi all- I drive a 2012 LR4 HSE with the 19" factory wheels. I'm looking for a decent all-around tire for summer use that is capable of on and off-road challenges found in the Pacific Northwest and still highway capable. I had Falkens and AT2s on my LR3 and want something similar. Any suggestions?- Rubber Cow

Do you have any free play on your rear wheels when it's on a lift? Grab the wheel -pushing 3 o'clock and pulling and 9 o'clock, then reversing. Then check at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock. If you sense any play it will warrant further investigating.- Rubber Cow

Does your ASC / ABS engage in mildly sporty cornering? I had a similar issue in an LR3....with the ASC activation at speed in curves. I thought it was tires....It turned out to be a fried rear wheel bearing. It wouldn't hurt to have someone re-balance your tires and look for missing weights...- Rubber Cow

It hasn’t been …..the issue is that the hinge for the arm is spring-loaded, which makes pulling it off the splined shaft straight, challenging. Hence the suggestion for a prying tool. I have encountered some minor corrosion on the drive splines that has made things tight but a squirt of TPS...- Rubber Cow

I live in Western OR.....lots of rain here. It's been my experience (on LR3s mostly) that aftermarket cowl covers are more problematic that OEM. Wither way, I'd apply some RTV silicone to the edges.- Rubber Cow

2008 LR3 Parking Brake Stuck
Jack it up, pull the rear wheels and smack the rotor with a hammer......gently, and somewhere off of the brake disc surface.
