Don’t rip out the EAS, it’s really not that hard to keep operational and has so many upsides. I just turned over 311k and still run the EAS. IF you insist on ripping the heart out of your LR3, I would not go cheap and get them from a reputable LR specialist. -

I’m going of 6 year old memories, but I’m pretty sure the stats were 3x stiffer than the strongest current competition and 10x stiffer than the legacy defender, so yeah. I think he’s right. This monocoque chassis tested 3x stiffer than the strongest body on frame competitor, so it’s hard to say that it won’t have the long term durability. From the modification standpoint it’s a drawback, but I don’t see modern vehicles being modded like they used to do the the series trucks. -

Suspension Issue
Don’t put it in off-road height, this changes the position of the air bags. They usually get pinholes at the fold in normal ride height. If you put it in off-road height it changes where the fold is and skews the results. What brand or source for the new struts? I bought off Amazon to see if... -

Down shifting in 4L?
Range Rover is right, sand mode (and winter mode as week) try to limit wheel spin by adjusting transmission shift points and reducing throttle response. First gear 4L in my 3 is REALLY low, even on 33’s. I wouldn’t lose sleep over this. -

Are these air struts bad?
Those bellows are the actual air bag, the air bags are tucked up inside. Bad struts wouldn’t cause negative camber. If you suspect a leak, don’t put it in off-road height, it will skew your test. When the air bags go bad, they usually developed pinholes at the fold at normal height. When you... -

Try jacking up the vehicle off the bump stops and see if it will pump up for you. Last time mine dropped I had to do that to get it to raise.
