I think there was something similar with one of the offroad guys in this forum but this is really bad; there was also discussion around the polybush and how stiff they are. Overly stiff is not good as it can increase the load on the control arm and lead to a fatigue failure on the control arm... -

Folks, just after engine on but once all the other instrument panel lights have gone off I see a "Service Required" warning, which after a few seconds disappears. Is this normal behavior or should the "Service Required" stay illuminated if indeed a service is required? I'm not aware of any... -

I tend to look at the number of reviews on Amazon, if an item has say 10 then I take it with a pinch of salt; 100 reviews then I comb through them to figure out quality of the reviews; then and only then do I make a decision, it's basic stats at the end of the day! I also like YouTube... -

I suspect that leading edge on the 2013 shoe helps reduce vibrations and therefore brake squeal -

I also put these on my wife's car and so far have had no complaints; I did this based on some comprehensive research after getting annoyed by the longevity of Bosch wipers! It appears that silicon wipers are the way to go when you're in the know... -

Rear door frame rust - driver/passenger sides
Agreed, mud stuck in that trim area can be bad news, I don't recall the particular corrosion mechanism (there are three if I recall) but I believe standing mud can cause galvanic corrosion hence keeping these areas clean and sealed is important. -

I have two garage door openers, one is quite new (circa 2021) the other is older (circa 2013). The LR4 works fine with the older one but not with the newer one. Both door openers have learn buttons (button color is important in the Chamberlain world)! Just an FYI. -

Make sure you don't over tighten them when putting them back on! Note also that bolts have a tendency to swell over time so rather than being 22mm they end up being closer to 23mm... I believe the bolts are steel with a secondary stainless steel layer to look nice! The underlying steel core... -

LR Time (YouTube) have worked on re-connecting the crank to the block; I suspect they cover the bolt sequence and torque if you're willing to watch the respective videos; they recently rebuilt a LR4 engine but not sure if the diesel and petrol engines are the same? Good luck. -
