I guess the other question is, once you've put on both pulleys, you're running the supercharger 20-21% faster. Will you be able to flash back to stock for emissions testing without throwing codes? -

SCV6 responsiveness off idle
Sport mode will make the transmission downshift a little earlier, do a little downshifting under braking, and hold gears a while longer. You can try this while putting around town at 1500 rpm -- shift from D to S, and you'll likely see the transmission downshift one gear. -

The SCV6 is pretty reluctant to downshift, even in sport mode. On the V8 model, at least in sport mode, the car was pretty good about downshifting under braking, which would leave you set up to accelerate, say when slowing to make a sharp right-hand turn. This behavior just doesn't seem to... -

B1163-15 code - heated mirrors
12V with 360 ohm resistance would put like 1/2 watt through the element, and that's not heating anything up... Sounds like you found the culprit... -

PPI Diagnostics Tool?
Someone correct me if I"m wrong, but I'm 99% sure the GAP tool can still scan all ECUs for faults, even if it hasn't been mated to a specific VIN. -

I had both this summer for about a week. (Bought a 2016, sold the 2012 shortly after) The 6 feels wimpier from a stop, and part of this is less torque below about 2200 RPM or so, but I also feel like the throttle mapping on the 6 is different. Probably part of the extensive efforts to get an... -

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels
This will help. I had to take my 265/65/18 Cooper AT3 down to about 5 PSI to get it in. -

Looking for a 19" off road tire.
It shouldn't. Supposedly 265/65/18 (31.6" diameter) will still rotate on bump stops, and 255/60/19 is smaller. -

I think they moved it to the glovebox with the 2015, when they introduced the LR Apps functionality. Edit: Looks like it was 2014, actually. -

Advice on peeling dash
Someone I know in Denver has the same problem on their 2016. And Denver isn’t exactly hitting Phoenix temps. Maybe leather drying out and shrinking if it’s not kept moisturized? -

I believe CA is checking for the “CVN” on the ECU — essentially a checksum that will be altered if the ECU is running non-factory software. I have heard that CO is adopting CA’s standards, but I’m not sure if that means just the numerical limits or also the CVN check. But as Fuji notes, you... -

Is this something you think was specifically caused by the VAP pulley / added tension ? Or just a failure that would have happened regardless ?
