GX550 might fit the bill, I believe it has a bit of a "step" in the cargo area when the seats are folded, however. -

Do durable side wall tires exist for the LR4?
What do you suggest as a non-LT tire ? I went to Cooper AT3 LT in 18s and while they're beefy, I don't love the ride. -

Some do. They also sell wheels with a 44mm offset -- I believe those are meant for the D4 exclusively, whereas the 27mm offset wheels are D4/D5 wheels. -

Curious what you didn't like about the GX? Interior? I've looked at a few Defenders. I really dig the exterior style, but I just keep thinking that the interior has a lot of plastic for a car that very quickly gets to 100K. -

2015 LR4 battery maintainer for 6 month storage
I think the aux battery would discharge in storage the same as the main. If both batteries are identical type and chemistry (IE AGM vs flooded cell), I suspect you could have one trickle charger feed both. On the other hand, if they're different, you'd probably want separate chargers. -

The V8 only has one battery. OP has the V6, which needs the second battery for the start/stop system. -

Testing air suspension for leaks?
I've done 100+ in mine before as well on straight roads. It's smooth, its stable, but get above 90 and you realize any kind of animal avoidance maneuver might not leave you shiny side up. May not help that I have 18" all-terrains, either. -

That is what I thought initially as well, and used an Alcar VT55 to program the blank UVS4031 for the LR4, which presumably activated them with their default IDs. They never really worked right -- sometimes OK, usually TPMS malfunction after some amount of driving, sometimes 2 of 4 wheels... -

LR4 Tailgate Chirp Sound
I have this noise and it is (at least in part) coming from the interface of the wedge / stop on the driver's side of the tailgate. I'm curious about replacing the striker itself.... Since it is just a metal bar -- would this really wear down enough in a couple years of normal use as to require... -

I checked a 2018 or 2019 one out a few years back -- they fold flat or at least 99% of the way. Oddly, they fold ~ 95% flat the first time you push the button. Then you have to hit it a second time and it will go down just a little bit more to make them flush. Not sure if its a resistance... -
