Damn, that's a solid outcome. That said, I can't imagine the front pipe is in any better shape than the rear unless it has been changed recently. At 120K, if you're keeping the car, I'd think you'd want to pull supercharger, do the front crossover, change supercharger oil, and change... -

You could tilt the sunroof open and close the perforated sun cover -- have never had bugs come through that while sleeping in it. -

Did they give you OE glass or make you take Fuyao ? I have state farm as well with "$0 deduct" but I had to pay the difference for OE. Edit: So as not to threadjack, State Farm, 44, CO, full coverage (250/500 liab, comp, $1K deduct collision, UI/UM) -- roughly $1250 a year. -

2012 versus 2015 LR4
If the 2012 is quiet (no timing chain rattle) and had frequent oil changes, I'd probably go with that too. -

LR4 to Defender direct comparison questions
Curious for those of you that have made the switch. Is the NVH better or worse driving over rough / washboard roads ? I find the LR4 is dead quiet / rattle-free on pavement, but when driving to trailheads and such, it gets really annoying because there are a dozen invisible places noises come...- Nechaken

Replaced crossover pipes and water pump
2K sounds about right for doing both of the crossovers. As I understand it, 2014+ is a little more labor-intensive since the supercharger is in the way. Might want to have them change the supercharge oil and/or coupling while they're in there. -

becoming collectible
Timing-wise, at least, Carmax offered me just over $40K for my 45K mile 2016 Lux with HD last summer. BAT gets a premium for the low-miles lovingly waxed with diaper examples, but thought it was a bit weird to see a normal retailer that high. -

Overlander Question
Keep in mind a 2019 D5 is going to have the same motor as a 2015 LR4. So same concerns with coolant tubes and, although the post-2013 5.0/3.0 have updated timing guides, they're still prone to timing chain issues if the excessively long factory oil change intervals are followed. -

Heavier wheel/LT tire combo "skipping" across pavement?
I've always thought you were supposed to add pressure when running E-rated tires. At least pickups and such that can be spec'ed with E-rated tires work out that way. Granted on an F-250 they're probably planning for 3000lb of construction materials in the bed or a horse trailer or something... -

Heavier wheel/LT tire combo "skipping" across pavement?
I've played around quite a bit, from 42/46 to 55/60. The skipping is less pronounced at the lower pressures, of course, but I'm guessing that's pushing it in terms of load capacity if I have 4 people and camping gear and ice and firewood etc in the back. I actually can't complain much about... -

Question for you guys that have gone to a heavier wheel/tire combo. In summer, I run Cooper AT3 LT (ie E-range) tires on tuffant steel wheels. I live in CO where we have some windy roads with less than great pavement quality. I've noticed when cornering over bumpy/broken pavement, sometimes... -

I think many of the CAN cars didn't have dual scales on the speedo...and the US requires mpg, either by itself or as one of the scales. -

HD vs non-HD package LR4
For 2013 or older, the vindecoderz site still works. Locking diff will show up as "Rear Axle Differential - Rear Axle Locking Diff [027CC]" Topix unfortunately has become pay to play, and its not cheap if you just sign up for a day or week of access...
