Dealer Price Gouging
There are independent LR specialty shops that can perform repairs without voiding your vehicle's warranty, at least that's what they claim. My dealer charges a minimum of two hours labor for ANY repairs. -

Punctured 20" tire
My left rear tire is completely flat from a nail puncture. I have 20" rims with Nitto Terra Grappler 265/50R20. I have always dreaded this day will come. I still have the stock 19" spare in the wheel well. Don't have a 20" spare, full-size or otherwise. I know - lesson learned. I tried... -

iPhone Cable Connection
I have a 2012 LR4, so I don't use an ipod cable. But, the USB wiring has been damaged twice; I was getting a "device error" or "device not recognized" error when connecting a USB device. I don't exactly recall the cause of the damage, but my dealer had to replace the internal USB wiring both... -

2102 LR4 Front Grill Color? HELP
I think it's a matte finish grille. I have the same grille. They come in various combos - black grille with black frame, black on chrome frame, etc. Pic 2 is overexposed, so the grille appears grayish. -

The GEICO extended warranty program is call Mechanical Breakdown Insurance (MBI). The policy costs roughly $800/year with $250 deductible. -

Anyone know this LR4?
Mine have the same size Nitto Grapplers and oem 20 inch wheels, but they do not stick out. So it must be the wheel offset. -

What wheels are these?
They are available in the US. The 20 inch 5-spoke wheel comes in two finishes - the diamond turned finish (as pictured), and the black alloy finish. I have the latter. Many dealers don't have them in stock but can special order direct from the UK. Around $850.00 each (ouch). -

Wheel Spacers- Help!
Are your Johnson rods installed full-time? If so, any concerns about LR warranty being voided due to the modification? I bought Sasquatch rods last year but have been hesitant to install (I was planning to keep them on fulltime) due to potential warranty issues. -

First service denied?
Wheel balance and alignment, even with my new tires (only had 2000 mi on them) installed by my local tire guy a few months previously. Total cost with new wiper blades was $380.00. Needless the say, I refused both. And, they forgot to reset the "service required" message on the dashboard. -

Since the first service is free, be careful about "recommended" add on services. My dealer said I needed new wiper blades (with less then 6000 miles in the vehicle) - for a minimal fee of $170.00! -

My "SERVICE REQUIRED" dashboard message came on at 6500 miles and only ten months from the date of purchase. My dealership covered the maintenance nonetheless.
