    Are my differentials working properly?

I swear that I had read somewhere that either the center or rear locker could be manually locked??

Dvd Player for a Disco I

Oh - and I do have 2 sunroofs, the player is just in-between them. There was originally an air/heat vent where the player is, but the installer ripped it out and sealed off the vent (so that the air was redirected to the other two headliner vents).

Dvd Player for a Disco I

I had a necvox DVD player installed (by rosen). Here is a photo (I have a 2004 Discovery, but it should fit in the same location on a DI): The price was a little over $2,000, but the picture and audio are fantastic. It also came with the wireless headphones, which my little boy loves. The...

Specific to this site, I would list it in the classifieds.

    Problems with non-standard mp3 rates

Not sure if you are interested, but there are many tools to do fast re-conversion of your mp3's to a chosen bit rate. The one that I use most often for fast, bulk conversion is Alive MP3 WAV Converter (http://www.alivemedia.net).

    Who is getting the Sport?

When is the Moab tour? I am going down in both April and May, was wondering if I could plan it around the same time to get a glimpse of it in action.

    every disco owner needs one...

While I choose to neither agree or disagree at this point in time with the current subject, I thought it would be fun to post some pictures of both vehicles. The LR is obviously mine (I just put a Thule ski rack on top of my LR rack - love it), and the H2 is my brother-in-law's (with a 6 inch...

    Considering 2005 LR3

In the US, the "do not use a weight distribution hitch with the LR air suspension" statement is in the towing section of the user's manual, at least it was in previous year's manuals. Someone else would have to confirm this for the current year manual.

    Considering 2005 LR3

The air suspension is great for towing, except that you cannot use a weight-distribution hitch with the LR air suspension. The LR automatically distributes the weight so there is no need for this type of hitch; however, a weight-distribution hitch also acts as a sway controller for the trailer...

    Considering 2005 LR3

Opinion: towing with the LR3 vs. the Denali - the Denali will probably be a more stable, consistent towing experience because it is a longer wheelbase vehicle. You won't have any problems towing your 4,000 lb boat (BTW, what kind of boat? I have been skiing behind an older barefoot supreme and a...

    Considering 2005 LR3

Your MPG will not be much, if any, better. And the service from LR depends on your dealer. My local dealer has been great. I have posted some of my experiences with my dealer in this thread: http://www.landroverworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=761

    02' Discovery tow wireing...HELP!!

One more thing to think about with your Discovery (and you may already know this), the wires for the plug are "stored" behind one of the rear brake-light faceplates (I think)...

Discover II Draught on driver's side door

You could also have your dealer look into re-aligning/adjusting the entire door. I had to have my dealer do this on the same door so that the feet of my roof rack would not smack the top of the door every time it was opened or closed.

    1997 Armored Range Rover

I have a family friend in my area that runs a car armory business. With that level of protection, there is usually a TON of extra weight added onto the vehicle (which is why they usually have larger engines, and I am assuming in your case a supercharger). Personally, I think it would be a...

    Camp-trailer-tow

There are a few places in my area that offer travel trailer rentals (western US - Utah). The one we have liked is Access RV (www.accessrv.com), the trailers and motor homes they offer for rental are new almost every year; they sale last year's inventory at the end of each season to buy new...

    Camp-trailer-tow

I ended up not getting one, but decided to rent one a few times to see if we would end up enjoying it. It did not come with an adapter. I had a trailer brake controller box installed, as well as a 7-way plug. It works great but was not real cheap (I decided to not go cheap with anything...
