Disco camping/sleeping
If you have a tent, or any other kind of material, on top of the rack, the bars won't get hot. Just the material will be the warm part - maybe it would be like a toaster oven than (not as hot).... :cool: -
LR3 suspension problem
My local dealer just gives me an off-the-lot, for sale, loaner - no cards, copies, or anything. Not trying to rub it in, just thought you would like to know that there are dealers out there that have great service and policies... -
6 Disc Changer wonky
I can't help with the CD changer problem, but my 2004 Discovery does have the automatic down feature. I would think yours would too???? -
Problem with CD Changer
From a software perspective: if you have Windows XP, Windows Media Player burns music CDs quite well. Even better is Nero Burnin' Rom, software that will burn almost anything from DVDs to S-VCDs. Nero is my choice of software. "Music" CDs really shouldn't make that much of a difference, the... -

Here are some "Ladder" instructions that I got via an email a while back - this might be helpful: -
shopping for a 2 or 3 inch lift, see if this setup seems ok...
It sounds like you are going to have an excellent ride once lifted - but I would recommend following discomike's advice. I almost ripped a hole in my stock sidewall on Porcupine Rim in Moab last year. A thicker sidewall, and more height, would have made a world of difference on that trail for me. -

All LR's (at least I am pretty sure all of them) have both a high and low range. As for the Range Rover, I am not sure if that year has a 2H setting... sorry...- tmiller1

I have thought the same before when I was trying to figure out the "towing with a LR with SLS" question. What eventually happened was I contacted LR corporate with my questions and they were able to answer them - I then shared these answers with the forum. -

LR3/Disco3 Software Issues?
I have heard that the telephone integration will be via BlueTooth, and that it was a late add-on. I have also heard that the "kit" will be sent out to customers sometime during the first quarter of 2005. Since this is all second-hand info, I suggest contacting your local dealer. -

LR3 driver seat question...
Personally, I found that driving both my 2004 and 2000 Discovery was uncomfortable compared to my other vehicles. For off road though, both LRs were VERY comfortable. I am 6'4" so I can empathize with the "long legs" problem. One thing I have found is that you adjust to the change. Just my... -

What a pain! I had delivery problems when I bought my 2004 Discovery last year. My dealer was really good to me though: they let me have a loaner Discover (a 2003) for the entire time, and they threw in some "comps" for the hassle that I went through. Are they an "official" LR dealer (do they sell only LR's - since the dealer name you mentioned doesn't appear that this is the case)? The reason I ask is that allocation of the new LR3 is weighted differently for various dealers - i.e., the dealers that sell the most with the best customer...- tmiller1

Lost 2 centercaps in 2 days?!
