New Range Rover?
You have to at least explain your opinion on the subject. My opinion was based on 100s of hours watching a V6 J**P out-crawl a V8 J**P in Moab, simply because the V8 was spinning way too much. anyone running dedicated snow tires, if so which ones?
Depending on the storm patterns, we often have tons of snow here in Utah and I have always been running stock tires (Goodyear) with no problems. I tell you what, I would try it out in Moab! It would probably be too much power for most off-roading situations; well, maybe not too much power but it would take a while to adjust your off-road driving patterns with that much power and torque available.- tmiller1

Hi, i'm new
I too like my SLS for the same reasons that discomike stated. There is one caveat however, having SLS on a Discovery makes it so that you cannot use a weight distribution hitch (i.e., used to tow a travel trailer). This is a response from LR corporate on the topic: -

Ski Rack
I already have a roof rack (ie, full rack, like Safety Devices or NWP). I am planning on buying the Thule 726 (Deluxe Pull Top 6pr Ski Carrier). This should mount directly onto my roof rack bars without any additional crossbars, etc. I say should, but since I haven't tried it yet I don't know... -

has anyone tried a headlight swap?
It would probably be kind of difficult, since the light housing is quite a different shape. The 03-04 light housing has a half-circle that would get in the way. -
Cup Holders
I am not into drinking anything either when I am driving. I will use the cup holders most often to hold my cell phone, or put a drink in at a fast food or drive-thru restaurant (we frequent those types of places quite often since I have little kids). As for the size of the screw-on holder... -

Cup Holders
You know, I really liked those particular cup holders on my 2000 Discovery. Too bad my 2004 doesn't have those particular cup holders any more. I drove a new Range Rover this morning at the dealership - now those are some cool cupholder configurations! -

Most Important tools?
So I have now added zip ties, a mallet, a lighter-powered air compressor (only for emergency use, not meant for airing up after the trail), a cargo net that covers the entire roof rack, bungee cords, and some blankets. All of these items are in a plastic box in the back of the Discovery- tmiller1
