    What are these for?

Also handy where there are a lot of pedestrians. Keeps people's grimy mitts off your rig!

Given that you're looking at 18" sizes, I assume you have a Disco II?

Anyone have the workshop manual pdf for Disco 1?

Ummmm, yeah. (1) The shop manual is copyrighted, so "just send me one" seems a little risky. (2) Even if someone wanted to, it's a 400+ page book -- that's a BIG pdf file....

    Intake Help

At the risk of sounding a little grumpy, a 1996 Disco is a dog. You'd be better off running better sparkplug wires, and maybe high octane gas, than spending that amount of money on a new intake tube. If those things really made that much difference, don't you think that LR would design the...

Wiring Aftermkt fog lights to original wires?

Do you have the original fog lights? If you splice in the wires to your new lights, the fog light switch in the dash will control them. What I mean by that is this: Cut the wires to the fog light connectors, and splice the power wire (red?) to the power wire for the new lights (probably red)...

    Vendor List

These are some vendors that are commonly used by Land Rover owners. Listing is not to be construed as an endorsement of the company, just as failure at any time to list a vendor should not be interpreted as disapproval of the vendor. Yeah, I'm a lawyer. What that means is that...

Wiring Aftermkt fog lights to original wires?

    (1) You can set up cheaper fog lights (the originals are Hellas), but don't go about 55w on each light (110w total), or you'll blow the fuse. Splicing in wires should be fairly easy. (2) You need to reset the code(s) that the engine computer threw, which AutoZone or other car places can do...

    Driveshaft seal?

You need to replace it. You'll need heat, though, to expand the metal on the outside. Then use a chisel and hammer and anything else you can find to beat it out of there.

    O2 sensors

Decreased mileage () Soot-like exhaust Feeling less powerful than before Having too many miles on the O2 sensors. You can hook an oscilloscope up to the O2 sensors and measure the resistance, and in doing so tell when they are dead/dying, but the above are a good start.

    Full RACE Cage Rover

Jason, do you have any pictures of the whole truck? I'm impressed with what I see but would like to see more. I've seen a lot of RRC's turned into "rock crawlers" but never a TT-style race truck.

    front receiver????

I own one  I got it from a friend who had it mounted to a Range Rover Classic. Try looking for an RRC front skid plate, and you might find it. It bolts right onto the frame.

    Imported Dutch Army 88

There are a fair number of so-called "grey-market" Series trucks. Most of them are in the sub-$10K range, especially 88" models. For some reason 109's and 110's are the models that command the most money at sale. You might check LRX -- they have a fair number of Series trucks for sale...

LR3 Regular Cleaning and keeping it looking Good

All kidding aside, I agree with Echoes. Meguiars is VERY good stuff, and if I gave a rip about the outside appearance of my truck I would use it on the Rover. It's what we use on my wife's Jeep Liberty to keep it nice and shiny

LR3 Regular Cleaning and keeping it looking Good

Unless you cart around clients, or are more anal-retentive than most , a spotlessly clean Land Rover is like a fish with antlers. It might be nice, but it's not natural.

HELP! Very loud tapping at speed/under load only?

Is this noise speed based, or RPM based? If the engine is revved while the truck is in neutral or park, does it make it? Or only while rolling?

The Seafoam Picture and Instruction Thread

You're right, you're not. 95 D1 is different, because it has a 3.9L and a distributor instead of a 4.0 and GEMS. Maybe someone will be kind enough to describe or photograph the interior of a pre-GEMS engine so you can find the breather.

The Seafoam Picture and Instruction Thread

If someone doesn't know where the intake is, and where the valve covers are, or is unwilling to look to see if Wikipedia or somewhere on this site describes where they are, perhaps they shouldn't try this sort of work on their own truck. Just like I wouldn't insert a needle to temporarily...
