    Vibration/ all over

Snow and ice can definitely make your wheels unbalanced too

    Vibration/ all over

Second that, the last time I went through some mud it caked in behind the spokes and then dried there, making the wheels very unbalanced. I ended up using a long flathead screwdriver to clear the dried mud out.

And actually the last one is a type-o, there is no high beams in that one! They put out an immense amount of light, even without the high beams. Once on there is more light than you could ever need  And thx I love that picture, it really turned out great.

    Stuck in the Mud

D'oh!!! I was totally thinking in terms of Hi-1 acceleration, totally had a brain fart there :help: Forgot the acceleration in first while in Lo is quite short lived, 2nd would definitely be the way to go then... Man I feel dumb lol, I knew we were talking Lo but I guess it just didn't...

    Stuck in the Mud

How fast you planning to go? haha The acceleration in 1st is much faster than 2nd... I think if you were the Mud already 2nd would've been better, but if you were trying to get a running start, I think 1st would be the best bet

    Stuck in the Mud

Curious, Why do you think second gear over 1st? Just the added control, i.e. 1st is to aggressive and responsive? I would've used 1st for that situation, Guess I've gotten lucky in the past :dontknow: Love to proven wrong though, Could spare me from being knee deep in the slippery stuff...

    Stuck in the Mud

Dammmmmmmmn u really got urself into a pickle there :ahhhhh: Anyway, I'd prob do mud ruts, low range, 1st gear with LOTs of speed at the beginning and keep the throttle going at a steady and consistant rate, and the have DSC off. Also try to wiggle the steering wheel from side to side...

I've got 4 Hella 4000 Rallye Compacts up on my Rack, they are definitely a "spot" light and not a flood light, but between the Factory HIDs that came on my HSE and the four on the roof, its more light than you could ever need (IMO)... Now check out this Progression of added light: Low...

    Pillowtrack Self Recovery Tracks

No that day was fun haha... that pic was taken last year around May... lots of mud but different kind of mud much less viscous then the day I was referring to... That *bad* day included the "peanut butter" kind of mud and that combined with snow and ~20 degree temps made recovery a *****...

    oem fuel fuel tank replacement?

I would take it off, then fill the tank like trynian said to allow the plastic to pop back into the original shape Also, i guess you could fix your OEM skid for now (when you take it off anyway to let the tank fix itself) and then install the new skid when you get it

LR3/LR4 or the Range Rover off road?

Weird, the info I got was from rangerovers.net about a MK III Rangie... I wonder if they screwed it up since i doubt LR made the articulation worse from when they first introduced the MKIII

LR3/LR4 or the Range Rover off road?

Interesting, a while back I was wheelin (bone stock) with a (bone stock) FFRR. We both had to go up and over this muddy hill with relatively steep approach and break over angles and I got up in in one try (with a little help of the skinny pedal ) and he on the other hand probably took...
