2006 Range Rover iPod/Aux. Input
Just figured one out today. If you know what a FM modulator is, you can basically get one of those, and have it hardwired into the radio antenna. That way, you can input anything from a RCA plug. The antenna is in the back of the car, near where the CD changer is. There are two black cables...- angasreid

Sorry to correct you umbertob, but to update this thread, I have the new and latest 2009 disc working great with the 1791 Hack. I did it exactly the same way as all the others too. You can do it yourself, or contact me for more information. :wink: PM me and I'll fill you in... However... -

So mine ended up being the rack and pinion. Apparently, it's broke. Glad I have that extended warranty. To update this post of mine, the rack and pinion wasn't the problem. It was the u-joint on the steering column. -

My power steering is going out too. It's difficult to turn the wheels, slight whine, and spotty in some areas. It's strange too, often while driving it will just pull to a side. Glad I bought that extended warranty. It will be in the dealer monday. -

I have them and love them. Although I was recently climbing some rocks, and due to the wetness I slid into the rocks and dinged up one side. It didn't ding too badly, and hardly noticeable, but I'd rather that than the body of the car.. By the way, they in no way do not function as steps... -

Sorry, let me clarify. Any LR3 that came with a 2006 or 2008 original DVD, a file has been installed that blocks the 1791 trick. But if your 2006 LR3 came with the 2004 DVD version, then you'll be able to do the hack. Land Rover releases discs every 2 years. So in 2004, 2006, and 2008... -

Nope. I've been looking into how to do it. The only thing that I could figure would work, is somehow connect to the cpu of a Nav system without the loading.kwi installed. Then grab the software on that computer, and then copy it to the newer cpus on the newer computers. How to do that... I... -
